As a competitive high school swimmer I have always had a passion for aquatics and wanted to share that with my own children. As they began discovering the joy of water play, it became apparent to me that I did not have all the tools necessary to teach them to be independent swimmers despite my own swimming experience. It was then that I sought Swim Life lessons for them at 1 and 3 years old. After just a few lessons, I knew becoming a Swim Life instructor was right for me. I can honestly say I found a career that never feels like a job and always feels like a privilege. It brings me great joy to empower parents and children with the skills and confidence to safely enjoy the water. When I’m not in the pool, I can be found enjoying my other passion on the mats training and competing in Jiu Jitsu and a variety of other martial arts disciplines with my family.
I am so excited to announce that our family has moved back to the beautiful Island of Okinawa! I am currently booking Oki students for the Fall/Winter season!
In multiple studies across the world, research has proven that early swimmers gain more physical, cognitive and emotional advantages than children who do not swim before the age of 5.
